| 1. | Introduction |
| 1.1 | This Website is operated by the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE). SCE is established by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. SCE's office is located at 1 Kim Seng Promenade, Great World City, West Tower, #17-07/09, Singapore 237994. |
| 1.2 | Through this Website, you will be granted access to the latest news, commercial offerings and services of SCE, which are wholly owned by SCE or its related service providers. These commercial offerings and services will be governed by additional terms and conditions, as the same may be prescribed at the time of contracting. |
| 1.3 | Should you have further queries relating to the use of this Website, please contact us here. |
| 2. | Mailing List |
| 2.1 | To register with the mailing list on this Website, some of your particulars are required for the purposes of SCE providing registrants with news and updates on SCE. SCE reserves the right to determine the contents thereof and disseminate them via e-mail (or any other forms of communication media) to the registrants. |
| 2.2 | SCE reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate (either in whole or in part) mailing updates to any registrant of its mailing list on this Website immediately, for any reason whatsoever, without prior notice. |
| 3. | Project Proposals and Job Resume Submissions |
| 3.1 | For more detailed submissions, such as leads, project proposals or job resumes, these will include requisite information for SCE to evaluate your offerings and provisions on a preliminary basis. Such data submissions do not, in any way, suggest a binding contract or commitment from SCE to accept your services, offers or proposals. Instead, SCE will contact the author of such proposals and resumes, should SCE be interested to progress further. |
| 3.2 | The author of each submission will represent and warrant the accuracy of its contents therein, together with any projected deliverable(s), to the best of his/her/its information, knowledge and belief. Through such submissions, the author is open for SCE to contact him/her/it for further clarifications and discussions. |
| 4. | Privacy Policy |
| 4.1 | SCE recognises that your privacy is important to you. Your personal particulars and any related information will be treated in strict confidence by SCE. SCE will not disclose any sensitive or personal data to third parties without having first consulted the author, unless such data is publicly available or has already been available to SCE through external channels, or other means, or the disclosure is required by law (including any court order). |
| 4.2 | For project proposals and leads received, however, SCE reserves the right to validate their contents with its service providers or network of contacts. But in so doing, SCE will aim to protect the originators' identities and only discuss the viability of project proposals concerned, with its contacts. |
| 4.3 | For job resume submissions, SCE reserves the right to process and retain these in its internal database for reference. All resumes will only be used by SCE for the purpose of carrying out its mission to export Singapore's public sector expertise and experience, and will not be re-used or re-distributed for any other purpose. |
| 4.4 | Should SCE, either through its service providers and external contacts (or other means), come across suitable opportunities to engage your services for the purpose of exporting Singapore's public sector expertise or experience, SCE will first seek your views and consent, before availing your resume or other sensitive information, to the interested contractor(s). |
| 5. | Intellectual Property |
| 5.1 | All intellectual property rights in the design and layout of the Website and the material and information published on the pages of the Website, including, but not limited to, copyright and rights in registered and unregistered trade marks and service marks, are owned by or licensed to SCE and/or its service providers. |
| 5.2 | All contents on the Website (including, but not limited to, the design and layout of the Website and the information and materials published on the pages of it) must not be reproduced, downloaded, transmitted or re-transmitted, manipulated or stored on paper, electronic (including, but not limited to any database or any part of the Internet), CD Rom or other offline product on any other format, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of SCE at SCE's absolute discretion. Where the intellectual property is owned by SCE's service providers, SCE will confer with its service providers regarding authorisation of their re-use. |
| 6. | Disclaimer |
| 6.1 | The materials and information contained on the Website are for general information only and do not constitute any form of offer for sale, advice or recommendation by SCE. You should not rely on the materials or information on the Website to make any business, legal, accounting, tax, investment or other decisions. You should consult your professional advisers in making any business, legal, accounting, tax, investment or other decisions. |
| 6.2 | SCE does not warrant or represent and excludes all warranties or representations that the materials and information, including advertising material, on the Website are accurate, true or complete or that they are free of computer viruses or that they do not contain any material which is defamatory, obscene or illegal in any way. |
| 6.3 | In no circumstances will SCE be liable to you or any other third parties for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity or any consequential loss) resulting from or in any way connected with your use of the Website or its content, whether caused by negligence, misrepresentation, breach of any statutory duty, or breach of contract or otherwise. |
| 6.4 | You may access other websites via hypertext links from the Website. You use such links and other websites entirely at your own risk. Such websites are provided by third parties and SCE accepts no responsibility for the availability, content or use of such websites or information contained on them. |
| 7. | Indemnity |
| 7.1 | You unconditionally agree to indemnify and to keep SCE indemnified from and against any losses, costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis), claims, demands, expenses and liabilities suffered or incurred by SCE arising from or which is directly or indirectly related to your access to and/or use of the Website. |
| 8. | General |
| 8.1 | SCE reserves the right to assign or transfer all or any of its rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to any of its group companies or to any other third party. In the event of an assignment or transfer, notification will either be given to you by e-mail or posted on the Website. |
| 8.2 | Failure by SCE to exercise or enforce any right conferred upon it shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such right nor operate so as to bar the exercise or enforcement of that or any other right on any later occasion. |
| 8.3 | SCE reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time. Such changes will either be notified to you by e-mail or posted on the Website. Changes in this manner shall be deemed to have been accepted if you continue to use the Website after a period of 2 (two) weeks from the date of transmission of the e-mail or of posting on the Website, whichever occurs later. |
| 8.4 | These terms are governed by and will be interpreted in accordance with the law of the Republic of Singapore. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in settling any claim or dispute which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, save that SCE shall be entitled to institute any legal proceedings against you in any court of competent jurisdiction in any other jurisdictions. |
